6. To Receive the Clerk’s Report and Any Outstanding Items/Actions
An email had been circulated to Councillors prior to the meeting regarding the sleepers from the Common to the Playing Field. As previously discussed at the October Parish Council meeting, quotes for a footbridge have now been sourced. As the footbridge would be on both Common land and the Playing Field it was agreed to discuss this and seek approval at the Playing Field Committee meeting to follow. The quote of £943.86 plus VAT from Glenn Garnham was unanimously approved by the Commons Committee.
7. To Consider, Discuss and Agree Quotes Received for Scrub Clearance Works
Quotes had been sourced from 4 contractors and after discussion it was agreed that Task B, E, F and clear ditch at south side of playing field would be awarded to Rufus Bradley, Task G to Kim Stebbings and Tasks H and clear the growth from the ditch at tennis courts to Jack Chennery. Councillor Grocott to contact Contractors and arrange dates for the works to commence.
