River Waveney Trust
Bathing Waters on the Waveney - Heritage Project
Project Aim
The aim is to capture local stories and photographs from older folk: memories from people who used the river throughout their lives for recreation and bathing.
Sharing Heritage
With these stories and photographs we will recreate an online archive accessible to all, whilst also collaborating with Suffolk, Norfolk and UEA Archives.
Free Exhibition
In autumn/winter 2027 the River Waveney Trust will host a final exhibition to display these photographs and stories alongside project talks.
